Speedy Racing Monza post race

Hours after yesterday’s Monza 1000 km race, the stewards of the race excluded the #76 IMSA Performance Matmut car from the official classification after it failed to comply with the ACO regulations.

ACO technical staff judged that the Porsche’s airbox did not comply with the regulations. This is commonly tested by trying to block the air intake and should result in a stalled engine.

As a result the race winning Porsche was excluded from the race and the #94 Swiss Speedy Racing Team Spyker that crossed the finish line in fifth place was promoted to a fourth place.
