Besides completing the mandatory three night laps for each driver, the Dutch team continued to work on the setup of their cars for the race in the second two-hour session today. Although the #85 car with Peter Dumbreck behind the wheel did improve times their plans for a quick lap towards the end of the second session were abandoned due to a second code red.
Peter started the second session just after 22:00 and although the right head light was a bit off Peter Dumbreck improved his time to a 4:05.096. In another attempt he hit traffic and before he could retry a code red prevented him to stay out. After about 30 minutes the session continued and Ralf got out for his mandatory laps. Alexei followed and returned to the pit box to get some fuel out of the car before Peter would go for another attempt. Unfortunately, just after they released the excessive fuel, a second code red was given after a serious shunt of an LMP2 car and with about ten minutes to go the ACO decided to stop the session.
The drivers in the #94 car continued working on the setup. Iradj Alexander started the session in the Swiss car. After 30 minutes he handed the car to Andrea Chiesa. Benjamin was the last to drive the #94 and complete his laps before the LMP2 code red.
